G J Steel Public Company Limited and G Steel Public Company Limited Group joined hands with the Association of Siamese Architects Under the Royal Patronage together arranged the seminar “Low Carbon Building – Design Decision: What to Prioritize, What to Avoid” at Phra Saroj Rattananimman Seminar Room, Association of Siamese Architects Under the Royal Patronage, recently.

The honorable guest was Dr. Kittisak Prukkanone, Director of the Division of Strategy and International Cooperation, Department of Climate Change and Environment of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, who provided information regarding “Climate Change Act Draft and Important Law Which Will Define the Direction to Low Carbon Society for Thailand.” Moreover, Assistance Prof. Chanikarn Yimprayoon, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Architecture of Kasetsart University, who provided interesting information regarding options for low carbon design and guidelines to material specification to reduce embodied carbon and alternative building systems solutions to reduce operating carbon and renewable energy design in Thai context. In addition, Mr. Pornthep Bunraksa, Strategic Marketing Manager of G J Steel, also shared knowledge regarding green steel development in Thailand.

The seminar was well-received by many attendees, including architects, engineers, university students and general public.
